Tiny Toes provides an education that encourages children to express themselves freely, develop their personalities, and actively engage in the learning process. Our safe and nurturing learning environment reflects our commitment to instilling essential skills in children, preparing them for their academic journey. We prioritize transparency, ensuring that our actions align with our words as we work towards building mutual trust among the administration, staff, and parents.
Our curriculum is designed to cultivate responsible, inquisitive children with a passion for learning, focus, and a positive contribution to their world. Subjects are taught in both English and French and are divided into levels corresponding to the four classes at the daycare.
Tiny Toes incorporates the Montessori method into our education system, inspired by Italian physician and educator Maria Montessori. This approach emphasizes independence, freedom within limits, and respect for a child's natural psychological, physical, and social development.
At Tiny Toes, we believe proper hygiene is crucial to maintaining a clean environment. Given that children in daycare regularly interact with others, toys, furniture, and eating utensils, we prioritize cleanliness by regularly sterilizing the center. We implement specific hygiene rules and procedures for children, staff, and parents, including major sterilizations carried out with Sanondaf.
Ensuring the safety of children is our top priority. Tiny Toes takes measures to prevent children from coming into contact with electrical cables, sharp objects, or hot items. Protective fences are installed at staircases, and each floor is equipped with smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and a clearly defined fire escape plan.
To ensure the well-being of our students, our daycare center employs specialized staff, including a doctor, children’s dentist, orthophonist, nurse (available at all times), dietician, and psychomotor therapist. Health reports are regularly sent to parents to keep them informed.
Our highly qualified and professional staff, with degrees relevant to their tasks, creates a warm family atmosphere. They are dedicated to fulfilling their responsibilities to the best of their abilities.
Nutritious meals, planned by a dietician, are served to the children daily, including breakfast, two snacks (morning and afternoon), and lunch. We collect specific information on allergies and health considerations to ensure each child receives the appropriate food for their needs.
Tiny Toes recognizes the significance of activities in shaping a child's character, physique, and intellectual skills. Our diverse range of professionally-led activities spans Music, Sports (including Yoga, dance, Zumba...), Rhythmics, Kitchen, Food Lab, and Science. With specialized teachers ensuring the quality of these activities, we go beyond by offering a rich array of outings. These outings are pivotal for child development, exposing them to fresh sensory experiences that foster language, social, and cognitive skills.
